Colorado
The centennial state whose capital is Denver offers a very varied landscape. It is one of only two totally rectangular states with Wyoming that we have visited here. His nickname comes from the fact that he was integrated into the union 100 years after the declaration of independence of the United States.

Two million years have shaped these cliffs, spiers and passages. Real wonders of nature that make it a playground for a multitude of adventures.
Denver
Denver is a hip city, ideal for shopping. But there is one place you should not miss out of the city because it is worth a look: the Red Rocks Park and its amphitheater which is known for its impressive outcrops of red sandstone and its mythical natural amphitheater where many concerts occur.
Museums level, several visits are required. Find the spirit of the Wild West with the History Colorado Center or the Buffalo Bill Museum.
Culture is also well represented with the center of the performing arts or the museum of contemporary art. Do not forget the Ellie Caulkins Opera House Municipal Auditorium.
Denver is also 600 parks and natural areas like the City Park which zoo is one of the most interesting in the country.
Great Sand Dunes National Park
Located in southern Colorado, do not leave without having been to this park that is home to the great dunes of North America. Explore trails, forests, swamps and alpine lakes.
Kansas
Nicknamed the sunflower state, the wheat state, or the jayhawker state, the motto is « to the stars by hard paths ». The capital is Topeka.
Dodge City
The authentic wild west is here. It’s a paradise for cowboys. Explore the Boot Hill Museum and discover life-size outlaws.
Topeka
If you are a daredevil, I recommend the Evel Knievel Museum which traces the life of this stuntman.
Oklahoma
The sooner state is the 46th state of the USA. Its capital is none other than Oklahoma City. The climate is marked by violent phenomena such as tornadoes.
Route 66
Yes, I know we’ve already talked about it here. But it still crosses 650 km, it is the longest stretch that any other state of the country. Besides on this road you can visit several dedicated museums: the Oklahoma route 66 museum in Clinton, the National Transportation and Route 66 museum in Elk City or the Route 66 interpretive center in Chandler.
Oklaoma City
As a fan of western culture, a visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is a must. It offers an incredible collection of works and artifacts.
